Neil Goulden, chief executive of GalaCoral, said he expected the British government to resurrect plans for 16 new large casinos by the end of the month. Speaking at the Business in Sport and Leisure (BiSL) conference at

Westminster, Goulden told attendees that the bill would be back before Parliament by the end of the year.

A government spokesperson responded to the statement by saying that the plans would come before the house in 'due course'.
