Greek casino operator Queenco Leisure posted pre-tax profits of €16.4 million, a rise of €5.3 million year-on-year. The company's revenue rose to €39.6 million, against €31 million a year earlier, while gross revenues increased by nearly 26 per cent to €53.8 million.

A statement from Queenco said that it is well positioned for the fourth quarter, and expects to continue to benefit from the positive Greek economy following a successful tourist season.

The company added that it is currently pursuing developments in Prague and Belgrade, and that it continued to upgrade its operations and facilities across its existing casino venues.
